Description
Beautiful and unusual tropical orchids of all shapes and sizes will be featured at Duke Energy's World of Energy at Oconee Nuclear Station during a free orchid show and sale Thursday, Feb. 22 – Saturday, Feb. 24. This event, the ninth annual orchid show, is in partnership with the Blue Ridge Orchid Society (BROS) of South Carolina. The orchid show is free and open to the public 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday, Feb. 23, and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24.

Sara Pedigo Exhibit: Apperceptions

Description
Drawings and paintings by Flagler College Associate Professor Sara Pedigo will be on display Feb. 23-March 23 in Thompson Gallery of Roe Art Building on campus. The artist will present a talk during a reception in the gallery Friday, Feb. 23, 6-7:30 p.m. Regular Thompson Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The exhibition, Apperceptions, is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Furman Department of Art.
Pedigo has exhibited nationally, with solo exhibitions at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach in Jacksonville, Fla., Wynn Bone Gallery in Annapolis, Md., and Barton College, Wilson, N.C. Group exhibitions include the Cue Foundation, First Street Gallery, and Blue Mountain Gallery in New York City, Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, and the Naples Art Museum in Naples, Fla.
